Thanks man..hoping to get those rack pulls up. First time I've done them, so I wasn't really sure where I'd be.

Default Upper Power

Barbell Bench Press
2x205
2x185
5x165
5x175
5x185

First two sets were pretty bad...regrouped, changed some form up, and felt a lot better in my last 3 sets. The inner part of my left pec has been experiencing some stiffness/pain, especially when I like stretch it out over the past week or so...not sure what it is. I iced it this morning, and I'm going to continue to ice it throughout the next week to see if it gets better. It doesn't really hurt when I'm pressing though. I'm thinking it could be mild bruising from a dumbbell hitting it too hard on my last pressing day, but I'm not sure.

T-Bar Rows
5x5p
5x6p
5x6p
5x6p+5<NEW PR

Barbell Military Press
5x135
1x140

Dumbbell Military Press
5x65
4x65
3x65

Barbell Shrugs
5x325
5x365
5x365
dropset to:
5x325

Upper body days are fun, but they're always a constant reminder of how mediocre my strength is. I just don't like the fact that casual lifters can out press me when I take it really serious lol...but that's just more motivation. I think my new adjustments on form over the last 3 sets should help in the coming weeks, but we'll see.

Hang in there JA. I know your frustration. I started with a 95 pound bench. One rep at a time.

Yeah had 225 3x at the top of my bulk but somehow my strength started zapping by the mid-end of the cut. I'm gonna try throwing some more rest days in there to see if it helps.

Thanks, yeah I remember when 135 was a huge accomplishment. I just having a burning passion to bring my upper body to the next level, and to do that, I need to be benching 3 plates for reps. 2 plates shouldn't even be a tough obstacle.

Thanks man, appreciate the support!

I've been icing my left pec the past couple days trying to get rid of some of the stiffness/pain. Still not sure what the whole deal is with it. I'll probably go see a doctor if it doesn't go away by Thursday.
