Way to crush it Jeremy. Time to get that OHP over 225.

That is pretty much what I am looking for, 2 plates on the OHP would just be badass

Little note here guys, blast straps are awesome. I will throw up some pics soon, but I was playing around with them and it was crazy. It was very difficult for me to do a set of ten pushups, my arms were shaking like crazy. It was a lot of fun though.

I wish I would have discovered these a long time ago, I would like to work up to sets of 20 and then I will think about purchasing a weight vest.

Wednesday Sumo Deadlift Fail
Today was my experiment to see how much I could sumo deadlift, and I decided I just do not like sumo deads. They do not feel natural to me, so I think I will stick to conventional for now.

Sumo Deads
135x2x8
225x3
315x2
365x1
405x1
455x1
495x Fail, got it about a quarter inch off the floor, and then failed
I feel a lot of stress on my back and groin when I do sumos, I like them for light high reps, but not for heavy stuff. Conventional it is.

Conventional Deads
315x5
365x1
Just to feel it out here

Leg Press
2 plates each side x 15
3 each side x 10
4 a side x 10
5 x 10
6 x 10
These felt good and will definitely be a part of my assistance for 5/3/1

I need to get my body used to deadlifting again, so I am going to start my 5/3/1 conservatively and shoot for reps. I am gonna say 495 is my current max and use 90% of that which is 445. I have not been deadlifting much and it shows, my body is just not used to the movement and I think reps is the best way to do it. We will see.

I miss my deadlift soreness, and it is about to be on! I got really frustrated with my deadlift today, so it is time to just crush it.

I'm in the same goat. I've given my body an active rest and not killed it on deadlifts lately.

Time to do work. Best of luck with the 5/3/1.
