Why not try weighted dips instead of the close grip. Really great movement for mass! I would also recommend the glute ham raises or lying leg curls. If you are wanting to stick to more core movements and still hit the hamstrings then give sumo leg presses a try. What you do is put your feet high up on the leg press and slightly wider apart. The main thing to do is to push through your HEELS!! I couldnt really find a video for it that was performed properly. I will try to make a video of it this weekend.

Hi Coop,

My 2 cents...

I would stick with close grips. Make sure you keep your wrists above your elbows, and that you're not keeping too narrow of a grip. For RDLs, there aren't many solid alternatives other than leg curls.

As a mass building routine It's very close to what I would design.

I dont know how many ppl have this problem but i have trouble doing dips since i have never done them, do u guys have a good vid and some tips

My advice is to take them easy. Don't try to go too deep right out of the gate. Get the feel for the movement before focusing on proper depth.
