JB, glad to see you have started creating your own gym. I have most of the items I need to workout at home and soon will be adding a power rack. Just don't let the little things at home distract you.

Like the workout as well.

Just curious as well as new around here ... what is your height and weight?

Dang, we are the same size. I am actually 210 but the other 30 pounds is lard. I need to go to a rendering plant and get rid of it.

Just got done lifting, watched bodygammas instructional video for deadlift, seemed helpful, but seems as if I wasn't really feeling it in the hammies? Maybe I am doing it wrong or maybe its just the little weight? Not sure but I did buy an awesome stereo to listen to when I am lifting. Just got to get some good songs to listen to when I lift. Another note is that my shoulder has been killing me just my right one, but it seems it didn't really affect my lifts, so i think i might have it checked out.

155x3x5

Seated Overhead

nice man, if youre working on form i'd suggest video taping yourself. video taping myself has done wonders for me it really shows you what youre doing and you really cant tell how you look while youre actually lifting. nice workout! also if you video tape it post it up here!!!!!!!

Yea same here, If I get REALLY drunk I start to think I am superman, I dont think trying to up my squat PR by 100 pounds while I can barely walk would have a very positive outcome.

Nice work Jblack. My thought is if you arent feeling it in your hammies you need to sit back more, get those hips back and drive off of the heels man!

I don't really feel deadlifts much in the hammies. Keep working on the form and add weight when you can. It will all come together.
