Thanks! It's a nice change of pace and it's gonna give my joints a break.

It's usually not a problem, but every now and again I get some pretty bad DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) in my erectors and I'm sore the day that I squat, but it's no big deal.

BB BENCH
225 x 10
275 x 8
315 x 6
I had to go light today because the shoulder is still really sore and doesn't like this movement right now. I might just abandon this movement for a few weeks and use really light weight on any other chest/pressing movements. I started taking Cissus today so maybe that plus my change in routine, megadose in fishoil and glucosamin supps, ice/heat, and prehab will get it back to where it needs to be???

BB INCLINE
135 x 25
135 x 20
135 x 12
135 x 8
Very little rest in between sets. My shoulder actually liked this movement? I don't know right now. Either way, I'm sure it was just because the weight was SUPER light. SOmething to think about for next weeks chest workout.

STRAIGHT BAR PUSHDOWN SS WITH DBOHE

10 x 15/20x12
10 x 12/20x12
10 x 12/20x10

Thanks guys!! I'm a little surprised that 500 was as easy as it was. I was supposed to do 455 x 6 on my 1st set, but I was wearing a hoodie to help protect my raw shoulders. However, the hoodie was causing the bar to slip off of my back so I was fighting holding the bar on my back instead of pushing my feet threw the floor. 475 x 2 wasn't too bad and after that set I felt pretty confident that 500 would go up, but I certainly didn't think it would go as well as it did. I'm probably gonna take next week off from squats. I might do some light front squats with a lot of volume, but we'll see.

It was pretty satisfying I must say!! The stares from other gym goers are fun too! It's something to see I suppose because I never see anyone else at my gym use more than 225 with proper form on squats. I've seen some guys squat 5 plates, but I was always waiting to hear the weight crash to the floor followed by screams of agony! It's kinda funny to watch guys wobble underneath 4-500lbs only to do 1/4 reps.

Today was another light day to accommodate my stubborn shoulder. It did feel a little bit better today so I figure another week of this stupid light crap and a crap ton more cissus and other random joint supps and I should be good to go.
