Nice. How did I miss this. It must have been like a playground. Glad to hear you're back at 100%.

Good luck with the cut. Have to get that finished before Thanksgiving hits.

Default Need more sleep...

Ugh... No workout today. Still on PCT, but no lifting.. Just can't do it. I only got about 9 hours sleep sicne Friday. I went to UFC 118 Sat night, and it sucked. I literally almost fell alseep during one of the fights. Not to mention, the most annoying bitch in the world was maybe 10 feet away. She kept screaming all night long, like she had never seen an MMA fight before.

There were a few good fights, and I saw a few celebs walking by..plus Frank Trig was sitting right behind me. It took almost 90 minutes to get out of the parking garage, and this was at 12:40am. Usually, most shows are finished by 11:30 latest, but UFC paid to be allowed to run late for the PPV buyers..

Okay, enough wah wah... I actually have some work to do, but am leaving early as soon as it's complete.....

Rest up. I thought maybe you had been sick when I saw the lack of sleep.

Just a quick update..

I've decided to break until Sept. 13th. This allows me to fully recover with my rotator cuff, which has still been sore the past few days. PCT supps will continue until I run out, should be tomorrow night... I'm also taking a mini-vacation for a few days, and the heavy drinking that comes with camping isn't going to fit into my routine. So let it all out now, and then get back to it. The extra week is for vaca recovery...

I'm leaning towards a 3 day, full-body, GVT style workout, with cutting as the basis. I'd run on the off days to keep the cals burning all week...

For supps, I'm thinking of running 2 bottles of BioForge Pro-Max, which should last 6 weeks. I won't stack it with anything, so I can grade how it is alone as a test booster. I had good results with regular BioForge, and I've heard even better about the Pro-Max.

So, time off for now. I'm also thinking of closing this journal. It's been around for a while, and I figure if there were less history to read, more people may read up on my progress. Honestly, I don't care if anyone does. I log this stuff for me, more than anyone else. But if even one person can benefit from my ramblings in any way, it's an extra success..

You'd be surprised at how much lurker traffic the forum gets.

GVT sounds brutal. Can't wait to see what you think of it.

I tried GVT once before, but under estimated the strain of 100 reps in little time... This time, I will use lower than before, even though I know I'm stronger now than I was then. I'll add 2.5-5 Lbs each week, to keep some progression, however light or small.

I figure that to keep muscles active, running to improve overall CV health, and about 2000 cals daily to get some weight off...

Supps I know so far will be BioForge PM, USP Super Cissus, Beta Alanine, Creatine, and Protein. And a Multi-Vitamin and Fish Oil... Was thinking of adding in some Lean Xtreme, but I only have 3/4 of a bottle.. Yeah, I'll toss in 2 a day of that as well.. Need to make room on the supp shelf for new arrivals...

Anyway, I ****ing hate Hurricane Earl. It's making go camping a day later..so minus one day to smashed and have dangerously sized bonfires...

Default Update...and closure

So I'll be ending the journal this week... It's time for a new story. I've made great progress, and am way stronger now than when I started this back on BB.com. My new goal is fat loss. I estimate I'm at 22%-ish... I'm sick of being what I will call fat, with no real muscular definition. I have a pretty strong core, so I hold my gut in well. I'm not really sucking it in, but when I stand it doesn't really show much and I'm not trying to hide it really. But when I sit, or lean forward there it is. Plus I'd like an overall tighter feel..

So I'll think of some witty title for a new thread. I was planning on starting this week, but I burned my damn hand over the weekend, right in the middle of my palm.. So lifting had to be delayed a week. The blister is gone already, and I'm keeping it covered. Not much pain either, so I'm confident it will be fine by Monday.

I still have to work out the details and starting weights for the next routine... I'm leaning towards a cut with IF on off days, and GVT style training. Also will be running on those off days, AM & PM...

Anyway, this has been fun. But there is always more to achieve..
