Default Yes!!!

No special formatting, no big report... I'm just too beat down from kicking ass today!!

Flat Press -

20x @ 95
10x @ 135
5x @ 165
5x @ 175
3x @ 185
3x @ 205 - Old PR @ 5 reps...
2x @ 215 - New PR!!! Old PR!!!
1x @ 225 - New PR!!!!!! This was my biggest goal, 225. 2 plates each side. Granted I only have 2 45s, but with what I have, 225 was put on, 225 was put up, 225 was dominated. I can easily see hitting 250 by Fall, and possibly 300 by early next year!!

I am ****ing psyched!!!!!!

Pec Deck - More PRs!!!

20x @ 95
10x @ 140
5x @ 160
5x @ 170
5x @ 180 - Old PR @ 4 reps..
5x @ 190 - New PR!!! Old PR!!
3x @ 210 - New PR!!! Old PR!!!
1x @ 225 - New PR!!! -

So really only 2 PRs in the end, but I just kept going over the old until I was ready to stop breathing..

No leg work today, I was beat and it was getting later as I took more time in between sets to recover for the next PR to get smashed..

Also, is it normal to be able to do more on the pec deck than bench press? I know my form is far from perfect, but I felt like I could have squeezed together 250 on the pec decks... And my bench form sucks because I have so little room I can't position the bench properly.. I do what I can, with what I have. I'll retest at the end of my upcoming cut to see where I am then..and also I'll be in a real gym, so I can use better form and get a spotter...

Yeah buddayy! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Sort of like...blah today

This week is an off week, but I'm still going to get some lifts in. I want to work some incline, OH Press, and deadlifts.. May do 2 days, a few sets of each on Tues and Thurs..

I'm looking to next week to start cutting. I'm planning on increasing volume to 20 rep sets, 3x a week hitting those 3 major groups. I'm also going to switch workout times.. I'll be going to the gym at my work early A.M. to get it in first thing and boost my metabolism. That will give me a ton of time in the afternoon to effectively do nothing, or play more golf.

Diet : This is where I always screw myself. I just can't, no matter how hard I try, eat as right as I should. I don't want to to hear, Just suck it up... I tried, really healthy foods make me puke.. So...I'll eat more in moderation.. More protein shakes, more veggies, more eggs, chicken, and red meat.. I'm going for a Keto-style approach, so I can enjoy eggs and cheese and cheeseburgers, and other yummy stuff.. I haven't quite figured out exactly the meal plan, but I'll post it later this week.

Cardio : I hate running, but have come to the conclusion it's the best damn way for me to lose weight. I'm going to try....NO! I WILL start running next week as well. Last year I thought I was doing well with running at around 2 miles a day... Pathetic. That's damn 2 miles of pathetic. Granted I was on a tight time schedule, but 2 miles is jack, and I know I need to go a lot further to really take advantage if it.. So, with all the free time I'll have in the afternoon, I'm thinking I'll do 5 miles day after work M-W-F, and HIIT on the bike Tu & Th...I just need to be ready to brought down to a new low as I attempt HIIT and extended cardio with such a low carb count...

Supps: Not sure where to go here. I want to stay off test boosters for a while. I've been on some sort of booster for almost 10 weeks, maybe longer. I was thinking of the following : CLA, 7-Keto, some Thermo..not sure if I want to take anything else..

Overall, it's a new challenge. One I want to push for 8 weeks, maybe 12. There will be a few times when I go off cut-cycle, for concerts and camping..but I'll make what I can out of it..

Congrats on the benching bro, good weight.

Give HIIT a chance it will take a couple pf weeks to get into but once you do you'll start feeling good and begin to wonder why you even dislike cardio... well maybe going to far.

I know the pains of trying to lose weight. It gives me fits. Since having children I have been up and down so many times I can't count. Hang in there and do what you have to do. The best way to cut is always by doing whatever works best for you.

So nothing today. Not feeling it for a few reasons.. sleept late, and really busy at work until now has drained me. Hands are sore and callouses are just starting to heal. I don't want to tear them up again so soon..

I've also been eating like crap...McDs 2 days in a row, mainly because I have no money to buy real food and take lunch. I'll cook tonight, as I found some chicken I can do something with...

It's weird how once I stip being active for a few days, I seem to lose so much energy. Staying active helps me sleep better, think better at work, and get more done. It also gives me something to do after work. I get out at 3, and being just about Summer here..it's light out until almost 9pm. I can't stand just sitting on my couch doing nothing after work... Although, I'll have that time once I start cutting next week. I'm going to start lifting in the A.M., so I'll be crashing earlier and rising earlier. Not looking forward to it, but it has to be done..

Same with running.. I hate it with a passion, but I have to get at least 10-12 miles a week or I'm not giving 100%... I'm going to put together my diet and supps later tonight. Routine will be worked tomorrow morning...
