Thanks for the support, guys. I think I found a gym where I can use chalk and deadlift in peace. It's a little farther than the previous one, but not too bad.

Week 2, Day 4



Incline Bench Press: 5 sets of 4 with 200


Deadlift, Paused: 5 sets of 2 with 440 (no belt)

^ Since I started Sheiko, I was doing halting deads instead of this, not knowing that the translation from Russian was incorrect. After communicating with Dave Bates, the foremost expert in the U.S. on Sheiko, I realized that the lifter should be pausing slightly below the knee for a two-count, and then finishing the lift, not stopping above the knee and coming down, like I was doing.


T-Bar Row, Chest Supported: 8,7,6 with 180


Leg Curl, Lying: 5,4,3 with 195

^ This was a little too heavy, but I'll stay with it, getting more reps when I do it again.


Horizontal Calf Machine: 2 sets of 12 with 250


Two-Dumbbell Hammer Curl w/ Fat Gripz, Cross Body: 1 set of 6, each arm, with 40s

^ This was a monster pyramid, culminating with two singles with 255, along with plenty of higher rep sets, before 225 on the way up, and after 225 on the way down.


Deadlift, Paused Below Knee: 5 sets of 4 with 410 (no belt)


Face Pull, Seated, Rope w/ Fat Gripz: 10,9 with 85


Lateral Raise, Machine: 6,5 with 140
