Thanks, Mike, that is just the one lift I have such a hard time with. I don't get as discouraged with my "perceived lack of strength" on any lift but that one. Pull-ups, and dips work many of same muscles and I love them and can push through em relatively easily. Hitting legs in a few.

Ok so as I mentioned before I'm in a deload week, this is the 4th week of my program and today was a legs day.

DB Jump Squats 2 sets ( 10,10) with 42.5 DB's ( I'm really digging these the more i do em)

Squats 2 sets at 75% of my 5rm( i screwed up last week didnt do my 5 rep max so I just kinda guessed it. so ended up squatting 180 for 2 sets and felt WAY too easy.)

Deadlifts is next but on deload week these were not done at ALL

Powerwheel Ab Rollouts 3 sets at 10 with 45 sec rest

DB Single leg squats 2 sets ( 10 reps each with 42.5 lb DB's i've been able to increase
weight 5 pounds /week).

Barbell Shrug 2 sets( 175, 175 both sets 10 reps)

Good stuff good stuff and felt great wehen I left.

They took some getting used to, but they are actually not too bad. I can tell I have gotten better doing them and by the end of that exercise my legs are pretty much done. I still really like the jump squats its helping me with that explosive power I'm hoping to gain for the stair climb.

Default Phase 2 of Rampage

Well Im into the 2nd 4weeks of this program and I really like how the lifts do upper/lower then full body on a 3 days a week schedule.

In phase 2 the lower body is hit with different lifts

BB Hang Cleans 4 sets 5 reps each(100,100,100,100) not done this lift before really concentrated on form. I need to set up a camera to catch form next time.

Box Squats 5x5 on this one ( 100 FORM, 135, 155,155,155) This one felt almost too easy I will definitely increase weight on this one, but I like the pause at the bottom. Almost like complete relaxation of muscle then hit again on way up.

Cossack Squat 3 sets wearing 25lb weight vest ( 10,10,10) More of a flexiblity balance and mobility exercise than strength building.

Cable Woodchoppers 2 sets (10,10)

Can tell I worked hard, now to work on diet, and conditioning conditioning conditioning. Looks like middle of June is when I will be running the Challenge.
