Ok, a couple of great days. Yesterday did really good as far as eating goes, not just shoveling food in but eating the right foods.
Today I hit the gym mid-day which i prefer.
Hit my A workout today
Squats 5 x (210,215,220,225,225)
Bench 5 x (120,125,130,135,135)
Inverted row BW 3 sets x(10,6,8)
Dips, BW 3 sets x(10,8,6)
Reverse Crunches

I really love the progression I'm seeing with dips, bench seems to be my weakest lift. I'm trying to adjust my form just a little bit and see if I can start improving that lift. Hoping to find more food,

Just a little update on my progression besides weights:
Currently hittin the scales at 163 lbs. with a body fat right around 15.5 %
Chest 38 inches
waist 32
left thigh 22
right thigh 22
left arm 12 3/4
right arm 13.
Small numbers for most here, but we all start somewhere. My biggest obstacle I've overcome training this past year is knowing we all started small, and the majority of you all have been training far longer than I have.
But this allows me to have a record of where I'm going. Seen a picture from work a couple years ago, DAMN what a difference I could actually see. Anyway Thanks MAB crew for everything I've taken from you all.

Ok, finally a chance to update yesterdays training.

I kinda slipped and pulled a hip abducter, early yesterday morning and was worried about my squat. So I didnt go as heavy as i had been. But I managed a respectable, 215 for 5 sets and it felt pretty good.

OHP was really good did a 5x5 with 100, which was a 1st time for that.
DL, still continues to be prolly my favorite lift went 240 from the floor on this lift.

And of course pull ups which I really like, and focus on using my traps and lats more than pulling from the biceps. My numbers are lower this way but dang do they feel awesome.

Of course eating continues to be my biggest hurdle, and I will be starting a new program after 1st of year and looking to eat clean again.

Default new Program

Ok im on a 12 week program now to boost up the strength and focusing very hard on conditioning. Some of you know I compete in the Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge but I missed last season due to some scheduling snafu's at work( which resulted in me getting my feelings hurt and I stopped training for a a couple months).

New season starts in April and we haven't decided which city I'm going to compete in. I will now be in the Over 40 category( thankfully cuz those young guns make me look worse than i am).

I'm now on a upper/lower body split for my first 2 trainings in the week and end on Fri. with a full body workout.

On my off days from strength training I'm doing hill sprints, and or at least 30-45 minutes of walking ( alone or or with mrs. fire)
