I just use the Windows Movie Maker for cutting. It's free and easy for basic movie editing. But you may some free file conversion software as well.

PR city! Kodak east share was the worst, I used to spend hours converting and editing video. If you use torrents download AVC (any video converter), I think easyshare uses quicktime and you need to convert it to wmv.

Honestly I would say just get a nikon cool pix, awesome small affordable little camera that quickly transfers videos no hassle and no need for conversion.Easy share my "butt" I hated it so much.
