Thanks. It really shows how I'm not balanced on strength. For my weight my bench and rows and shrugs and whatnot are all pretty good. Even my deadlift, I feel, is coming along. But the squats. Damn the squats!

the following will make me sound like a little teenage ass hole, here goes:

what's up with the 180 leg press? how long have you been training?

i could leg press more than that my 1st time ever (i know all leg presses are different, but still...) and i know many others like me who do hundreds of lbs.

im no amaizing leg presser (nor do i care to be), so dont take this the wrong way....

are you really pushing your self with these weights?

You didn't read my note at the bottom I guess.

I can leg press 450 for reps of 6-8. Probably could push it up beyond that (haven't done 'em in a while). 180 was very light and a finishing exercise after the squats and high rep. Simple as that. I could have pushed out more than 16 on the first set...though I pretty much failed at 14 on the second from fatigue. I did not rest long between them.

I've leg pressed upwards of 630 in the past (maybe not ideal ROM). But my legs weren't growing.

I was not really pushing on these, per se (until the last few). I was working for really deep ROM and conditioning.

i guess i missed that.... well as far as leg growth goes, my legs have exploded lately from all my squatting. once you get the weight up your legs will grow like crazy.

just remember more weight=good, lol. keep it up and lift some big weights.

Ha ha. If 180 was my only exercise and only 8 reps or something I would have been like, "What the hell dude?" too. And as far as the "ass hole teenager" thing goes.........Ha ha. j/k. I wasn't offended at all.

I'm really hoping that with increase in weight I'll grow with squats too. But I'm gonna have to up my eating as well. I'm in a cutting phase now and can't expect too much. I'm really working the conditioning in my hips. My lower hips are what can't seem to handle the weight for the deeper squats and heavier presses with serious ROM.

Default Weekly results

Once again saw positive results...maybe too positive for me.

Last week I weighed 166
This week I weigh 163

Last week my belly measured 31.75
This week my belly measures 31.5

____

Last week Bry weighed 126.7
This week Bry weighs 125.5

Last week Bry's waist measured 24.5
This week Bry's waist measures 24.5

Last week Bry's hips measured 36.5
This week Bry's hips measure 36.5

As you can see, Bry dropped a pound on the scale but didn't go down in measurements. I dropped 3 pounds on the scale and went down an 1/4 inch in my waist.

I'm not too worried that I'm cutting too fast, unless I see that kind of a drop two weeks in a row. And I feel positive about Bry's 1 lb loss for the week in spite of the fact that it didn't show in the measurements.

All is well. Current diet seems to be working.
