Thanks man, I am working my ass off, and it is paying off. I am feeling like you should do powerlifting too, haha, just my opinion. I enjoy powerlifting so much more than any other style of training, I love going heavy!!

I am also still trying to wrap my head around the whole craziness of this workout but I can not complain about the results I have had after only 2 weeks, so I will stick with it.

Today was a bit of a rough start, but I am blaming this on the 6 hour car ride I had yesterday due to traffic. My hips felt a little tight, but once they loosened up I felt very strong. Some of the squat sets were a bit of a grind, but never got anywhere near failure. So it was good, and the bench sets felt great, I think they need to be a little heavier though. Sometimes I just breeze right through them with ease.

Overall a difficult squat workout, but the bench was not too bad. We really pushed the dumbell bench so I am seriously feeling that.

Me and my training partner went a little crazy on bench today, I was supposed to do 275 for 2 sets of 1 but ended up throwing on 295 for the second set and then on the last set we got into a rep contest, he did 20 so I had to beat that, so I pulled out 21. I do not know if this was a good idea, but it was fun until tomorrow morning. We are all feeling really strong and looking forward to maxing out again.

I think I have gained a decent amount of muscle mass, everyone tells me I look a lot thicker than last semester. I would say most of my mass has come in my legs, especially my hamstrings which make my thighs look a lot bigger. My triceps are a lot bigger than before I started powerlifting and I would say my back has also gotten thicker.

Not a ton more muscle mass, but definitely some, and I have probably put on 15 pounds in a year. I think.
