Dont ice that ankle. Stretch and keep mobility in it. Don't leave out squats and deadlifts unless it is unbearable. Your ankles shouldn't affect you too much. I stepped off of a curb few months back and thought I broke my ankle, but I was squatting the next day, pain-free.

Ice slows the healing process. you need blood flow to help it heal faster

I agree, but I think the ice helped initialy to get a bit of the swelling out so that mobility is possible. It seems to almost be healed but today I could not squat. There was still a lot of swelling and some pain so I thought I would give it a little more time. Monday I will deadlift, no reason to make it worse. Missing one squat workout is not the end of the world, I was able to do everything else fine.

Getting better thanks, a little sore, tomorrow is an off day but on thursday I will be going back at it squatting. It feels pretty strong. I will log todays workout tomorrow, without the deadlifts. Feeling strong though!!

Ready to get back at the squats and deads!!

Here is mondays workout, I left out the deadlifts to let my ankle heal. I did some of them very light just to loosen up but nothing serious.

I've never tried an overhead press while standing up. I was always too afraid I would trip and kill someone. If I had a tall enough rack I might try it.

Anyway, great workout. It's bench day today for me, and now I'm motivated.

I would also like to try push presses. Unfortunately my basement gym has a ceiling about one foot above my head
