Male or female, definitely good to see someone focused so early on. I echo the sentiments that some of us are jealous that we didnt have the focus that you seem to have at that age.

Best of luck.

DAY:Circuit

Not too much to say about my training today. I was supposed to hit the gym, but couldn't due to poor weather, so I had to use the weights at home. Nothing over 100 lbs, so I kept the intensity up and didn't rest long between sets. Did some good metabolic work, and finished off with some deep stretch training. Wasn't too bad, but I really wanted to hit the weights hard today. Next time!

Just to touch base, I'm also going to be doing powerlifting this upcoming off-season (right after my competition in June). I've been toying with the idea for quite some time, but finally decided that I wanted to give it a try. I love lifting heavy, but I also love figure competing, so it fits right in line. I'm going to dedicate a solid 2 years in my off-season for building and putting on some more muscle before I hit the stage hard again when I'm 18. And hopefully will be doing some powerlifting meets in between!

I never really figured out my 1RM for stuff, but here are my best lifts:

Deadlift: 225 lbs, 1x6

Squat: 195 lbs, 1x6

And I KNOW I can do more. But I am small. Just give me time, I'm getting there.

TRAINING SONG OF THE DAY:

Your pics are great. Your lifts are real strong for your size. Your only 16 you have plenty of time to get your lift up there, no hurry. Can't wait to see you routines.
