My guess is that it's because she can't see without them.

Ha ha. Sorry. Couldn't resist.

I've gotten used to them, though. It's not a big deal to me.

Sleep: 5/10 (hate my f^cking alarm clock...doesn't even work.)
Diet: 10/10 (high carb)
DOMS: 6/10
Training: 2/10

DAY:Weights, SS cardio

Did my cardio this morning instead. Makes such a difference not having to worry about it post-weights.

My weights SUCKED today. Not my fault though - I seemed to have strained something in my right shoulder. It was so uncomfortable I couldn't do any shoulder work today, which pretty much eliminated all my upper body work, except for lat pulldowns, and one-arm rows. Even the tricep extensions were hard (even though they were light) because it was so f#cking aggravating. I don't know if it's my rotator cuff?

I have NEVER had shoulder injuries in my life, so I wouldn't know. It's a very dull pain though, when I raise my right arm. May have to see a physio, this is a really BAD time for injuries.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

1A) SLDL: (plates under heels)

135 lbs, 4x8

1B) One-arm DB Rows:

55 lbs, 2x9; 2x8

1C) Leg Extensions:

120 lbs, 2x20
105 lbs, 2x20

1D) EZ-bar OHE:

40 lbs. 4x8 (My shoulder was so goddamn annoying here)

Rest long enough to re-set weights and prep for next sets.

2A) DB Shoulder Press:

25s, 1x8
20s, 1x8

(Too uncomfortable. Felt weak.)

2B) Close-grip Lat Pulldowns:

105 lbs, 3x8
120 lbs, 1x5

2C) Flat DB Press:

30s, 1x10, 1x8 (shoulder, again)

2D) Leg Press:

360 lbs, 2x10
450 lbs, 1x10

LIFTING SONG OF THE DAY:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Very upset about my shoulder. And I was so psyched for an awesome workout, dammit. I did my best *sigh*. I just hope it isn't anything serious.

Here's my latest progress pics, more to come with mandatory poses, by Sunday:
