Today is green flag day, we have a clean start.

24 "A" sessions, and 24 "B" sessions are ahead of me.

Squat
1x5@180 up 30lbs for start set weight
1x5@200
1x5@220
1x5@240
1x6@260 pr for workset. Go to 8, and increase 5lbs
1x10@200 flush set.

I've worked out that my starting set will be my finish set. I had been thinking about how I was going to handle progression with this program. The top heavy set will still be the goal numbers to really push. The flush will move up as weights increase but will remain at the same weight as the start set weight.

Bench

1x5@150
1x5@180
1x5@200
1x5@220
2/2/2@240 pr for final set workset reps.
1x12@150

I had some reps in me for the flush set, but wanted to leave a little gas. Will push to 15 next session.

The 240 final set felt good. Will work at getting it as 2x3@240. Then continue to add reps till it is at 1x8@240.

BB rows

3x10@150

This still felt heavy by the final 3 reps, and I needed a little momentum to get the bar going. Still I got a good squeeze at the top, with quality work out of it. 3x10 is still hard work.

BHN press
3x10@90

I was just able to squeeze that last rep in. Will go keeppushing that final sets reps till it hits a solid 12, then increase. I must remember that these medium sets must be kept medium for overall long term goal of the program.

BB curl/ French curl Superset

BB curl 3x8@80
Curl bar FC, 3x10@65

BB curls are at the correct weight by the time I get to them at the end of the session.

I picked up a new curl bar yesterday. Will increase FC to 70lbs next time. they were not quite hard enough.

Finished 75 minutes

Ok, so thats 4 heavy sessions in a row with my new program design in the last three. A couple of PR's today for workset weights, and reps. I'm feeling like I need the two days of rest at this point, but I do feel good.

If I can do this again next week, I'll have a pretty good idea if I can maintain this program or need to go to a Wednesday medium session. If Wednesday does indeed need to be a medium session it will still be a fairly intense.
