Default 7 week peaking progress

I have a meet coming up on April 16th. To get ready, I'm going to do a 7 week peak. Just like every other peak I've done, I record all of my top sets to make sure my form and setup stay good. I figured I would keep a log of it here so others can give feedback, pointers, etc.

My current goals for the meet are 520/320/620. That may change based on how the peaking goes. What I normally do is take the max that I lift at home leading up to the meet, and use that number as my 2nd attempt for each lift, then increase from that depending on how I feel on meet day.

235 x 5
305 x 5
375 x 3
425 x 1
470 x 1
470 x 1

Still a bit tired, first week of a peak is always like this. I don't take a break between the end of a normal workout cycle and the start of a peak. Still went pretty good.

I don't compete, but that's what i would do.

Big numbers at 275 compared to prior. Based on your reps with 470, I think you'll do well!

PS- Your thighs would make a T-Rex jealous!

Bench day

I'm still annoyed at how absolutely shitty my bench is compared to my squat and deadlift, but such is life when you suffer a type III AC separation and don't let it heal right because you're too young and stupid to actually listen to the doctors....

100 x 5
140 x 5
180 x 5
225 x 3
250 x 1
280 x 1
280 x 1
280 x 1

Might have been a bit sore from shoveling snow last night, but things went pretty well this morning. I didn't notice how badly my left side was lagging behind the right until I watched this. Need to keep an eye on that.

I set my goals kinda high based on what I was able to do in training. I finished out this last training cycle able to do 5 sets of 3 at the following weight:
Squats - 460
Bench - 275
Deadlift - 540

I might be over estimating my ability, but damned if I'm not going to at least try

The one I'm doing is the ABBRx meet in Midland, MI. Fortunately for me, the meet is literally a 5 minute drive from my house.

3/1/2016
Squat day

My tailbone still feels bruised, but it didn't seem to affect my squats at all.

170 x 5
240 x 5
310 x 5
385 x 3
430 x 1
480 x 1
480 x 1
480 x 1

Form was shit on the 2nd set, I know what I did wrong though. Feeling pretty confident about being able to hit 520+ in April.
