In a nut shell, this will be round #2 for 50-60 lbs fat weight loss. Did it back 4 years ago, kept the weight off for a couple years, then put most all of it back on again (got to comfortable & lazy), shame on me, but time to get back after it. Goal is to lose 50lbs by Christmas which is doable if I stay strict to my diet and lifting routine.
I'll be on a restricted calorie diet of 1800 calories for six weeks, then I'll bump that up to 2000 for six weeks, then up to 2200 calories for six weeks. At that point I'll reevaluate where I'm at and what my goal will be moving forward.
I'll be doing a 1 set routine of 8-12 reps (Mike Mentzer style), full body weight lifting routine for 12 weeks, very slow and concentrated lifts 3-4 seconds up, pause a second then 3-4 seconds down, you get the idea...Lift until failure, if it's over 12 reps, then add 10% weight, if it's under 8 reps reduce weight by 10%, then I'll switch it up a bit and add sets most likely, depends on if I'm on track with my fat loss. Very little cadio, just ten minute warm ups when I'm at the gym every other day three days a week. I also do some mtn or road cycling once a week, one hour tops.

Really looking for some support and peps to keep me accountable, I had great success on the Scivation forums years ago from many which I call friends still to this day, Christine told me to get my ass over here, it's a great place to be at. I work a desk job 10 hours a day and I'm 47 years young, so metabolism is bad

08-09-15 Mtn Bike Road Ride, 13.48 miles, 12.04 ave mph.

Going to look at a new smaller gym tonight, I'm not using the pool at the Y anymore so I'm paying to much to stay there right now.

Why so low....well it worked great last time, lots of fat loss while gaining muscle. I remember it took a month to figure out what worked with calories last time, pretty small window to see results. I think with my job being in a chair all day is the issue to be honest. I'd be willing to change that if everyone thinks I should try, but I gotta say if I do, It'll be more protein most likely

The reason for asking is not much wiggle room to work with. If it works, then rock it!

Ok, vacation DONE.
Time to get after it, headed to the gym tonight if all goes well today, it'll be pathetic I'm sure but I gotta start someplace, I think it's been 6 months off now, uggh.
Weighed in this morning 301lbs, still can't believe I put on 60 lbs in the last couple years, but that's what happens when you get to comfortable and get lazy.
