Default LittleRhino's Log

Hello all,

Figured I'd jump on a board and log my weights a bit to keep me motivated.

Background:
29 y/o
6'3
215-220

Goals: compete in powerlifting meet

I started lifting for football in high school when I was 14. Went off to college and followed a typical body part split with no direction really. Took time off here and there and finally got back regularly about 4 years ago again doing the typical magazine workouts.
In May of last year after reading boards and articles I realized that my goals were strength and started looking into powerlifting and decided that was the route I wanted to take.
"Starting" maxes were 335 wrapped squats/300 (butt a few inches in the air) bench/365 deadlift (hadn't done these in years and that was as high as I was comfortable going)
I told myself at that point I would do a meet when I turned 30 (gave me 2 years of training to get ready).
Did 5/3/1 for a little over a year until the last month when I started the beyond program from the book.

Maxes now are 405/325/485

anyways, just wanted to introduce myself real quick and I'll hopefully start keeping an up to date log in hopes of sharing my workouts with folks who share my love for lifting.

Little bit of bi/tri to finish

Worked 4 nights and got off this morning and slept for 3.5 hours but strength still felt pretty good. All benches were paused - last set was more of a hesitation but still not touch and go.
