Default Braven's Training Log (2015)

Happy New Years to everyone! A lot of things will be changing in the next two months in terms of living arrangement and work, so I hope for the best. I was expecting to have made much more progress by the start of this year, however, I made little progress during the first 6-7 months of 2014 ( I jsut was not eating enough for the amount of volume I was doing), followed by rapid progress for 3 months, followed by an incident outside of the gym which set me back. In the next two weeks or so I should be back to where I was, and be finishing up with my novice training. It would be very nice to Squat 405x5, Bench 250x5, Deadlift 465x5 by the end of the year, though I am not aware if these are realistic numbers. I would like to gain 1lb a month (169 to 181) and possibly compete at the end of the year.

Nothing the matter with shooting for those goals.

You're already squatting 1.92 X bodyweight for four reps, which is impressive.

That avatar on your youtube channel - man, you are ripped to the tits in that picture.

Ignoring irrelevant credentials since I was 17.

Notes
There was some knee cave on the 335 and 345 for squats, but they felt pretty good as in, I had literally no adrenaline, loud music, or caffeine. I wanted to take it easy today since I had pushed hard the last few weeks and my left shoulder and right knee got aggravated last session. Another attempt at a deload failed lol.

Thanks guys.

I don't want to continue spending the next few weeks finally passing where I was on a 3x/week heavy layout, though I am impressed how I got there at 5lb lighter bodyweight through micro loading week after week. I'll add a set to each squats and deadlifts and go heavy 2x/week instead and have a lighter day in the middle of the week with just squats/pause squats. If I am unable to come to the gym due to work/moving ill just drop the light day for that week. Not sure if I will continue upper body the way I have or Bench 2x/week and Overhead 1x/week.
