Holy Sh#t!! i did my new quad workout today and my legs are completely fried. i now have to do quads and hams on separate days and it is totally gonna kick my ass.

squats 120 reps
leg extensions 100 reps
leg press 100 reps
calve raises 80 reps

this was all done with weight that i would have guessed my 9yr old could have done. but there is almost no rest on any set and inbetween if i do need a rest i have to do abs. this girl is gonna get me in shape whether i like it or not.

The life of a bodybuilder is AWESOME!!!

just a quick update on my trainin schedule.

since i only train 1 body part per day i frequent the gym 7 days a week now and do cardio 4-5 of them for 30-45 mins. they should just set me up a cot in the corner. with work and gettin to the gym my life has become rather busy as of late. i think my wife is mad?????

have not gone heavy in a while but i felt really good yesterday during my chest workout so when i was done i decided to see where my flat bench was at. i got 245x2 very easily and struggled out 265x1. these weights are down quite a bit for me but i'm still happy with them considering i cut 30lbs in the last 6 wks and i haven't went heavy in that whole time. a few days back when i was doin shrugs(which are done on back day now) i decided to roll into some rack pulls from knee high and i did a few set of 495x3. strength has not fallen off too much and in my new routine i am adding weight little by little so i think i'm doin pretty well right now.

at the last powerlift comp at the gym i workout at the 165lber benched 275 to win so i'm pretty close. that makes me keep a little confidence.

^^ yeah actually it is 7 wks but the first 10 fell off in like 4 days and its 27 to be exact so really its about 17lbs in 6 wks. not quite 3lbs per wk.

and i felt good about my bench considering when i did it, but a few months back i was doin 275x4 not that i expected to hit that but i was glad to see i hadn't fallen too far back.

50-200g of carbs depending on the day and right now i'm tryin to get 50g protein with all six meals. no fats or sugars.

tomorrow for breakfast i plan on eating 10 egg white w/ hashbrowns and the rest of the day will be filled with chicken breasts and greenbeans and 2 protein shakes. and i can have all the sugar free jello i want.

i don't use this log much but after my comp i will be back into it in full force. i will probably rest for a couple weeks after the show then i will begin my new phase in which i will be training for the state powerlift meet in dec. its held at my gym so i figure i will feel pretty comfortable there and what the hey huh. so i will be back to buisness as usual stuffing my face with tons of food and SFW!! gives me something to set goals for after the comp is over.

also i'm adding to my home gym collection with a couple purchases today...picked up a commercial decline bench w/bar and a regular flat bench for 200 bones. and if i desire i can buy as many standard 45 plates as i want for a buck a pound. all in very good condition.

i shall return to my former 200lb state soon and begin kicking a$$!!!
