Default Tannhauser's pink dumbbell workout log

A new direction for me means a new log.

I have been through a fairly terrifying time with my health in the last few weeks. It's a long, dull story, but the upshot is that I'm going to have to change my attitude to training. Oh, and I need to get some weight off.

I love strength work: bench, front squats, bench press, rows, deads, squats -all that stuff. But if I go back to heavy training, it may exacerbate a condition I'm trying to control and which may be dangerous for me. I don't want to be the strongest guy in the cemetary, so regretfully, it's time for me to bid farewell to the black iron. At least for the time being.

I'm not sure what my training is going to look like now, but I fear it's going to involve waving some pink plastic dumbbells around.

Watch this space, and don't laugh too much.

Good luck with this Tann, hope the condition improves ! No doubt those pink DBs will still be heavy for most of us

Best luck for your journey onwards Tannhauser ... I do hope this is just a temporary phase and you will be able to lift some heavy black iron again ... And yes as OMP has pointed out : "color coordinated training apparel" will defintely attract more traffic to this log ... Keep pushing your limits brother ...

Wow - I am stunned and in shock Tann. I now feel I got off easy or lucky with the conditions I had to deal with the past couple of years - at least they were not life threatening had I lifted.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you as I hope you get better and better with each passing day.
