Impromptu Session (I start properly on Monday)


Strict Press
65kg/143.3lbs x 7,7,6
52.5kg/115.7lbs x 15

Chinups
5kg/11lbs x 6,6,6

V-Bar Lat Pulldown
"220" x 12

Paused High Bar Squat
100kg/220.5lbs x 5,5,5

Close Stance Leg Press
220kg/485lbs x 12

... plus a few fluffy sets of chest and rear delt "work".


Basically some testing (but not 1RM-style!) and semi-random stuff. The press and chins were in earnest at least, and went well.

High bar squats might be a better option than fronties, for me. Although it's extremely uncomfortable with even moderate weight (sore traps immediately), that's probably better than endlessly wrestling with a reluctant bar - hoping it doesn't fall off or snap my shit up any ol' time - and just generally looking demented.

Very strong strict press and I like those strong pauses. They helped my squat a TON.

Squat = 325
Bench = 210
Dead = 353
Total = 888

Bigger and stronger - while getting fitter and uh, shreddeder as well - is the plan. I want it all!

Just hammering away at the stuff that works. Nothing complicated.
