You did better than your last meet, went 7 for 9, and set PR's with better form. Doesn't sound like a crappy meet to me!! IMO, squat is the most difficult lift at a meet, and you went 3 for 3 on it!! A 551 lb squat is really outstanding work and a dream come true for most. Your definitely in the upper echelon of lifters Dave - even Avi said your a fine lifter.

Yep, I introduced myself to him yesterday and he knew of you. Great guy - we chatted about upcoming meets as well.

very proud of you Dave, not only for this but for making it into and doing well in med school. Your living the life buddy!

Thanks, Ravi. I figured I would be more disappointed not attempting them than missing them. I just cant figure my bench out!

Thanks, Nathan. I think my training went well for deadlift, I just didnt get enough time in. That 550 was probably my best 550 ever, was a huge conventional PB and it was after only 10 to 12 weeks of conv training. It will come soon!

I'm certainly very happy with that squat. Just need to put a full meet together again! Thanks as always for your support Jim. You bring enough positivity to cancel out my negativity lol

It takes a lot of guts to go for "milestone lifts" rather than more conservative numbers. Perhaps going 9 for 9 would have resulted in a higher Wilkes, but that's not as fun, is it?!

I have trouble sometimes seeing things as wins unless they are BIG wins lol. Thanks for the outlook, man.

Thanks, Ravi. Pretty easy day back at first. Those 10's on bench went better than expected (even if they're stupidly weak still).
