New here, and I thought I'd start a log for accountability. I'm 48 and currently about 160lb at 5'8". I started lifting a couple a years ago - starting strength for a while, then the 531 for Beginner's template. Eventually, I split this into upper and lower days mostly to keep my sessions short. I train alone (except when my 4 year old daughter comes down to keep me company) in my basement. I've incorporated Incline Bench and Front Squat as main lifts over time. It only vaguely resembles 531 at this point but seems to be a good fit for me. Any feedback or comments are welcome. Thanks for reading.

I started a new cycle this week so thought I'd post them. I won't log warm ups. Everything is in pounds.

Christmas Eve

Incline Press (TM=150)
125x8 (6+2)

Bench 95x20,18,15
BB Row 3x85x12

My goal was 6 reps on the top set. I did Boring But Big 5x10 for a while for volume, but thought I'd try Paul Carter's 350 sets at 50%

KB Swing 5x35x20
TGU 5x15x1/s

I haven't been doing much lower body assistance lately, instead doing some conditioning. Right now it's the "Simple & Sinister" KB program. I'm trying to learn Turkish Get Ups so doing them with very low weights.

...and today:

Press (TM=117.5)
100x8 (6+2)

Incline Bench 85x20,15,15
DB CSR 3x35x12,12,15

Then some arm stuff.

The press is the lift I struggle with the most, and it felt heavier than they should have today. The 350 sets are killers.

Deadlift (TM=310)
260x8 (6+2)

KB Swings 5x35x25
TGU 5x20x1/s

Went skiing with the family yesterday for the first time this season, so the quads and calves were a little sore. I was able to take my time between sets, though, and in the end I don't think it affected me that much. 260x8 tied my rep best at that weight, so I maybe could have gotten a 9th rep, but skiing was fun and I'm happy. The Simple and Sinister KB program actually calls for higher weights working up to 10x10 but I only own a single 35lb KB, so for now will use higher reps and fewer sets. The TGU's were interrupted by my daughter acting out, so I had to take a bit of a break to lock her in a closet, but eventually I got them done. Still working on form for these but will plan to up the weight next session.
