Thanks, they haven't been coming too often lately so I was psyched!
Making very nice progress.

Appreciate the props BF!

Incline Press
100x4
115x4
130x7 (4+3)
125x5
125x5

Bench 95x20,20,16
Yates Row 3x85x15

DB bis and tris 2x12

Solid day all around. 130x7 ties my best reps at that weight, and also getting better at the 350 sets. Trying to be more consistent with rest times, which got this done in less than an hour. Outside temp right now is -12F!

Thanks for dropping by again BtB, I really appreciate it!

Squat
200x3
225x3
250x6 (4+2)
235x5
235x5

KB Swing 10x53x10

TGU 5x25x1/s

DB Snatch 4x30x10
TRX Jackknife. 4x15

So so day. No missed reps but the squats felt heavy and was well short of my best of x8 at 250. Just one of those days, I think. The conditioning felt fine. Will go up to 30lb next time on the TGUs.

Conditioning

KB Swings 10x53x10

TGU 5x30x1/s

Short and sweet. The TGUs are getting tougher. Working up to 35 so I can use my lighter KB rather than a DB.

Press
80x5
90x5
100x8 (5+3)
85x8
85x8

Incline Bench 85x20,15,12 (50-3)
DB CSR 35x12,12,15

...and EZ Bar arms 2x12

Decent enough but heavy and tired. I think I'm going to cut out the KB stuff on my "off" days as it's affecting my upper body recovery more than I like. Maybe just some walking or light BW stuff.

Cool. That's why I subbed your log. I know at 160 a lot of folks are scratching their heads about eating at a deficit. But I had gotten close to 170 and tended to add some fat. So just trying to defluff a little before trying to add again. I think the challenges are a little tougher at my age (48) but definitely worth the effort.

This was supposed to be a 5 rep week but I could tell that high(er) rep DLs weren't going to agree with me today. So I did my ramping and back off sets x3. I got my reps +1 on the top set but not close to my best at that weight. I didn't drop the weight that much on my back offs just to spite.
