This workout was actually done a couple days ago.

Pullups
BWx1,2,2,1

Barbell Row
55x8,105x8,145x8,180x8

Band Assisted Pull ups (aka Ass Pull ups)
2 Monster Minis 2 minis x9,6,5

BB Shrugs
185x12,225x12,275x12,295x11

Standing Band Rows
1 mini 2 micro mini x16x3

Overall Workout Grade: B

Notes:
This workout is a couple days old.
Still Struggling on the Pull ups. I am not going to stop doing them, but it would be a lie if I said I didn't find the lack of progress demoralizing.

BB rows Felt great. They are progressing consistently. Because of my lower back issues I really emphasize keeping my core tight. Thus far, i don't feel these having given my lower back any issues.

Using the Band Assisted pull ups now instead of rack chins. Just to change it up and experiment a bit. I like this so far. I focus on a full ROM and really squeezing hard at the top.

I did barbell shrugs instead of Kirk Karwoski rows. KK rows are good, but shrugs are hard to top, when it comes to direct trap work. It was a fun change. I was worried about the impact on the lower back, but like any other movement now a days, i put a conscious effort into keeping my core tight. I was able to work up to 295 with little to no lower back issues. This made me happy. I will be working these moving forward for the time being.

Band Rows are a great finisher.

Skipped out on the calve and forearm work. I had a Christmas event I had to be at and I ran out of time.

Overall, this was a solid session. Come at me Bro.

Great work Josh! Don't get discouraged on Pull Ups! They take time and will pay off on back size and strength! When I started with them I could do 1, so I'd do 1 and then do negatives! They helped get me doing lots very fast ! Keep working hard bud!

I spent Thursday and Friday in bed with the flu. This was the first day I am starting to feel even the least bit better. So considering the circumstances, I was pretty pleased with this session.

Nailed my bench press goal of 295x4, which is up from 290lbs last week. It went smooth and felt good. Hell to the yeah, i will take it.

Hit my BB curl goal. I'll kick up the weight next week.

Skipped band x-overs and drag curls. Towards the end I was just dragging ass from being sick. Even though the lifts I did complete went well.
