Posted lots of order this weekend to fill out the home gym and give me something entertaining to do, given my limitations.

I have a yoke, farmer's handles, a log, and some bumper plates on the way, along with a few other accessories I picked up. Hope to get back to training seriously this next week and start making some real progress again with a new focus: lightweight strongman. It has been a goal/dream of mine for a while and I figured I would finally take the plunge.

Cycle 1, Week 1, Lower Body


warmup:
  • foam rolling for upper back, IT bands, quads, and hips
  • 10 leg swings front and side for each leg
  • 10 squat to stands
  • 2 sets of 10 shoulder dislocations
  • stretching for hips, calves, quads, pecs, lats, delts

1. Squat (high bar, olympic style):
Bar x 15
135 x 8
185 x 5
225 x 5
255 x 5
295 x 5
335 x 8, belt. Hit the bottom of the 8th rep weird and jarred my shoulder so I shut it down. Felt good enough for 10 otherwise though.



2. Stiff Leg Deadlift:
135 x 10
215 x 10
230 x 10
245 x 10

3a. Band Leg Curls (Avg Band):
3 sets of 5 each leg, and then 10 with both legs.

3b. Facepulls:
3 sets of 20

4. Ab Circuit:
2 rounds of 10 reps ab wheel, 10 reps leg raises, and 10 reps saxon side bends.

Session Grade: B
Notes:
Overall a pretty good session. Glad to be squatting again, and also glad that it appears my squat won't suffer too badly from the position change. Everything else was good as well, but it was pretty warm today and I was worn out by the end.

Very very strong squatting CFM ... Great wts. and even greater volume on all the lifts brother ... very very strong working ... keep up the great work brother ...
