Well done getting thru all of that in 45 minutes Carl! So, looks like deadlifts were eventually remembered! Good numbers to start from for sure.

Solid training here, lots of effort, mate, thanks for commenting on my log. You should get some big numbers in a few months!

Its my pleasure mate... and yeah hopefully i will be back up to nearly respectable again by the end of the year and can then start pushing on from there.

If I am honest I am not feeling as obsessed with hitting certain numbers as i was. i just want to get back a reasonable level of strength and drop a few pounds at the minute. That being said I kind of know my addictive nature and competitiveness will have me chasing PR's again before I know it

Hey, Carl... read my initial journal posts... same story as you.. got away from lifting for almost 2 years and i'm turning 39 in November.

Compare my January lifts to my August lifts... you can do the same!

Great to have you back Carl. Just remember what you told me about the reeves routine, walk don't run . as you stated , the Reeves classic has given me my best changes to date . I know you will get your groove back in no time bud
I'll be around to see your journey continues bud.
