Yeah I basically minimize gluten intake except for the occasional beer; I'm more of a liquor guy. I also got the tests for gluten intolerance and I tested negative.

I'm surprised really. I know you eat a good amount of fats and get enough fiber. Hope it works out.

I know right?! Which leads to believe this isn't a simple diet or supplement fix. I really thought it was thyroid or test related but an array of tests and sub tests for those came back normal. Go figure.

Minimizing gluten will not make one bit of difference - it has to be all or nothing. Plus, it takes a good 2 months of being completely gluten free for your body to recover, if gluten is causing a problem. Just be aware, that even tho you tested negative ( I assume the blood test) it still could be the culprit, because the only really way to be sure of Celiac or even intolerance is a biopsy. The blood test is only an "indicator". Just thought you should know this.

It could also be another group of foods, such as dairy or nightshade plants, or a combo of them.

I sure hope its not a food related issue for you tho Nick.

Ah, great insight as always Jim. I have so much whey protein idk what I'd do if it was dairy! :/

I guess it would be worthwhile to cut out gluten for the next few months. Glad I had NY Pizza and a cold beer this evening! haha

I've read up on nightshades but I'm not sure I follow why the can cause an auto-immune reaction...

Nightshade plants are known to cause inflammation, especially in those with auto immune disease(s). This was info given to me from Lisa.

Squat man could you list off things you don't eat because it causes inflammation? Is nightshade plants it? With my recent inflamed tendon I'd like to minimize any inflammation.
