Thanks Xeno. I guess my foot "planting" has improved a bit although I do notice some unsteadiness during my higher rep sets.

Ahhhh! Shins vertical, that's an excellent cue! What kind of width stance do you take while benching? DL stance? Squat stance? Sumo DL stance?

I agree 100% with Fen - your pulls are looking so, so much better than they used to. You are definitely not all lower back now. Good to see Nick!!

Hell yeah!!!!!! These comments are making my day. I'll tell you what, I'm feeling it BIG TIME in my glutes and upper back since I've adjusted form. And seeing as these are two lagging areas for me (size and strength wise), I will take it as a great sign!

Pulls look like they have a lot more power to them than before when you had less legs. And they especially look good beltless.

Have you tried anything for the shin rubbing? Only things I've seen people do are long socks, sweat pants, or even duct/athletic tape.

Thanks brother! When it was colder in the morning I would wear sweatpants to the gym and keep them on for my dl sets but the last two workouts I forgot the sweat pants lol.

I'm planning to pick up cheap knee high socks that way I can wear them in hot/cold weather. Will probably cut off the bootie part so I can slide them up my shin and not have to worry about what shoe I'm wearing (using vibram five fingers).

Probably squat stance to answer your question. Definitely see what someone who actually has good bench numbers does.

2/28 - SQ + accessory in Boston in PM
260x10; +5lbs and + 1 rep over last workout's 80% top set; increase to 265
245x10
230x10
210x10; slight rep drop here, but I was fatiguing
High Bar
160x20; increase to 165lbs
Progression on accessory exercises

3/1 - Conditioning in PM in Boston
Incline Treadmill for 47min - 3.07 miles; 552 cals; 1719 verticcal ft

3/2 - BP + accessory in PM in Boston
200x7.5; +5lbs but 1 rep short of the rep goal
190x6.5; spotter dude freaked out and grabbed the bar when I hit my sticking point on the 7th rep even though I had it
175x8
165x10
Seated DB Arnold: 40 x 41 reps in 5 set; increase to 45; FINALLY exceeded rep goal
Pendlay Row: 175x41 reps in 5 sets; increase to 180
CGBP: 120 x 38 reps in 5 sets; + 9 reps
Cable Crossover: 65 x 40 reps in 5 sets; + 10lbs
Seated Rear Delt: 85 x 46 reps in 5 sets; + 2 reps
Conditioning
Heavy Bag: 5 minutes (on and off) - old bantamweight boxer complemented me on my form despite no formal training
Battle Ropes: 30s as hard as possible x 3 sets (60s rest between sets)

Note to self: NEVER ask a lifter who speaks broken English and wears gloves to spot me again; everytime I hit my sticking point he grabbed the f'in bar and I nearly lost it :/

Look at all that progression! Your golden right now Nick.

Spotting is an art and skill that 99.9% of lifters in a commercial gym do not have. The Crew even had to teach me how to do it when I joined. Perhaps giving them some instruction before you lift on when to intervene would help?

Really nice work overall Nick. You always have been and always will be a fine lifter.
