So, here's what i got last week.
Squat - 365lbs
Bench - 275lbs
Deadlift - 460lbs

1100 even but still disappointed. I didn't give myself enough rest on bench and squat days, so i think I should have had 285 on bench easy. I'm not really where I want to be right now, but I'll just have to keep working at it.

Somehow I managed to strain my back doing deload squats on thursday. I'm going to need a few days to heal before getting back to the heavy stuff.

Never fails. All my injuries come on light weeks or nonsense weeks.

It's been a rough month. I had to stop squatting and deadlifting in early january. it's what the physical therapist tells me is a strained Quadratus lumborum. i tried to suck it up and squat through the pain for quite a while, but it only made things worse. eventually anything more than 135 was fairly painful. i'm doing physical therapy right now but it's basically just core stretching and some light lifting. i don't know. it also seems to flare up when i do anything involving running around. at least i've been keeping up with the bench press 5/3/1. i'm doing leg pressing, extensions and curls. but it certainly isn't the same.

Still sticking with 5/3/1 on the bench. I'm deadlifting and squatting again, but only up to high reps at 225/175. I'm focusing on tightness and i think that's really helped. I may have been relaxing my body too much to try on conserve energy on the tough sets. From what I can tell this is not a good idea. Hopefully I'll be back to lifting heavy weights in a few more weeks.
