You could try a sort of fullbody 5/3/1. That might work well especially if you end up missing sessions due to life commitments, soreness and such. Nice work otherwise. Did you watch the UFC or boxing?

UFC. At the moment my training week looks like this although only the weights sessons are concrete.
Thursday bench
Friday deadlift
Saturday off road run with hill sprints
Sunday squats
Monday press
Tuesday yoga
Wednesday rest.
I don't think its too demanding as yoga will help recovery more than hinder it and I may run Wednesday instead of saturday sometimes. This is my first week of trying this schedule and it may just take a little getting used to. Next year I want to do survival of the fittest again, tough mudder and total warrior all for chariry so I need to be strong, agile abd have good conditioning.

I can see why people enjoy them. Personally I was just glad to get it done but was pleased with myself after I'd got home and had a hot bath and ate a lot.

Found a gym that's a bus ride away that is the place to be for powerlifters and strongmen. They're also opening a new facility dedicated to strongman and powerlifting in January so naturally I'm very happy about this. I went at peak time tonight and walked straight onto an empty rack which was great. The equipment is a bit old and shabby but it's okay. Got a free week's pass so will see how it goes.

5 x 72.5kg these 3 sets were rest pause sets. Went for speed on deloads.
8 x 55kg x 5
Felt good. Various assistance exercises, barbell incline, dips, chins, curls.
