Maybe not the best day there, but you did some good lifting anyway, mate. Strong leg press (and extensions of course, lol), And a PR for the hammies. So all in all, plenty of leg smashin'. Sometimes squats/deadlifts are just waaay too taxing on a given day. I know that feel. I mean, when you can do some, but just not what you'd hoped. They're so overall demanding, more than anything else (IMO).

Was going to do Leg Press but decided to change it up a little and do Leg Extensions...
145x 7 and had to stop because the weight arm of the Leg Extension attachment bent and was about to break!
Pic, if you can't see it, that bar holding some of the weights should be straight out, guess it didn't see today's babe!!!

500x 5 PR ...basically tried to guess my max or close and push my ass off! Well guess I could have done more, but that calmed me down some! Actually surprised I did that much! 6 months ago, rage or not, never would have moved that! In fact think I tried 475 and got my knees buried to my ears and had to do a BtB super fantastic roll out of the press !

Dumbell Side Bends
110x 10 PR ...just guessed on what weight to start with. Should have done more sets but my boy had had enough playpen time, I was ready to nap before I started lifting, and YES I actually did some AB WORK !

Done! 45 minutes total. Not a good day at all! Squats were poor, broke a piece of equipment, and although it's old, still bummed about it. Ended the day ok, but just a day where you feel like you should have given much more although not sure how much more I had. Whatever though, days done!

I once read, that a missed session is sometimes better replaced by selecting the session (missed) to hit the part that you feel is most lagging or would benefit from the extra work...thereby giving that area or bodypart a bit more emphasis for that point in time.
