I like the heavy day method he uses:

Back-off set two: 80% 1 RM X 5 reps.

Then rep work on a second exercise.

I like those back off %s - they feel about right to me.

October 7th, 2013

Not exactly on a roll right now. The lack of heavy training is leaving me beat up. My right wrist was spotty during benches but I did what I could.

If I compete next month my numbers won't be stellar, but what can you do.

Bench Press
Bar x 10
135 x 3
225 x 1
315 x 1

365 x 1
315 + 60 chains x 2 singles
225 + 60 chains x 2 sets x 5 reps
