This was a bad session, so I got the main lifts done, then cut its short.
I felt burnt out going into, and just didn't have the energy, Felt my form breaking up towards the end of each set.
This is the first really bad session I've had since I've gotten back into training 6 weeks ago, so I guess its normal.
I will resume training as planned on Saturday, should be a bit fresher! & get it all done.

I felt a bit like a pussy cutting it short, but Im glad I got the main lifts in.

Not a really bad session, given that most of the big lifts actually went pretty well by the looks of it.

But I sure do know that feels... smash 'em next time is what it's about.

yesterdays Training

Squat 75 kg x 5, 5, 5, 5, 5

Bench 57.5 kg x 5, 5, 5, 5, 5
(form still isn't great on last set, gonna hold this weight until I can do all sets comfortable)

BB Row 55 kg x 5, 5, 5, 5, 5

BB Shrugs 62.5 kg x 12, 12, 12

BB curls 27.5 kg x 8, 8, 8

Good Mornings 30 kg x 10, 10, 10


Much better session than the last one, I was icy cold, so did extra warm up sets to the good the blood flowing, also sipped coffee from termo mug between sets (best intra workout supplement ever)

Good work syn! Maybe a vid on bench, because you're really never going to be "comfortable". What I shoot for is being tight !

Thanks Hunter, I think I am phrasing it wrong
what I mean is I cant get the last 5 reps with good form, on the last set in particular I feel fatigued and find it really hard to push through properly.

I will aim to get a video in the coming days, although it my be next Saturday morning before I can train in daylight, otherwise I will try rig up a lamp as I'm training at night during the week days.

Is it a rest issue? Like are you lifting after a 30/60sec break? Maybe you just need a little more rest between sets? Sounds like it's just normal fatigue honestly, last sets always a struggle

first 3 sets I take 60 seconds, then I take about 120 secs to rcover for the last set.

usually use the above amount of time for the big lifts (squat,bb rows,bb press, bench press)
