Default Cliff's Road to 2/3/4 plates.

Hey everyone Cliff here. I decided to make a log for motivation and to track my workouts. Im a fairly new trainee and still a teenager (17). I've spend the first month(s) of lifting to learn all the movements and used very light weights. This has really helped me because I have no problems whatsoever getting to ATG/hips low on the squat and deadlift.

So that was my introduction time to name my goals. My goal is to get a 225/315/405 squat-bench and deadlift. This will take some time but i'm really motivated and bulking atm. I will be doing a basic routine with little accesory movements and sticking to the compounds.

Hopefully you guys can support me in my goals and I will do my best to be active on my log. Lets go

Strength on the compounds atm:

165-75kg squat
185 - 87kg deadlift
130 - 57.5kg bench
110- 50kg BOR
BW:140 5 ft 7

Oh boy another imperial units log haha.

Squats, deadlifts AND bench press in one workout. Kudo's for that my man haha. Just out of curiosity is there a particular reason why you did both bent over rows and chinups?

Oh and as Off Road said, the fact that you actually took the time to learn form is a great call. You're going to be making ALL KINDS OF GAINZ while others are struggling to progress on their back problem-inducing deadlifts, 1/4 squats and bench press rotator cuff destructions.

That is KEY and something so many guys skip. Good for you on taking the right path. I'll be checking in to see the fantastic progress you make.

Imperial units? Haha because of the lbs?
I always do 1 bodyweight movement at the end of my workout followed by mobility drills. This day I chose chinups because i did Dips friday.

Thanks offroad! Yeah one of my friends who is a little more experienced helped me with learning the basic movements. He told me to use just the bar and since his form is topnotch I trusted him.

My gym uses KG but I thought lbs were easier for most folks on MAB. I will just do both next time
