About damn time! Man that was the longest week! Felt good to have heavy weights in my hands. I really think I'm going to like this set up. Those back off sets felt great. I am really going to start upping the intensity and focus of the main lifts. I am not going to worry too much about the accessory stuff. Very happy with the way tonight went. Time to eat. Deathlift on Wednesday and I AM READY!

You nailed it. That's exactly how I feel and how I've been leaning in my training. I do a sort of back off as well. Nice pressing man.

My problem for the last couple of cycles is trying to kill the accessory work as well as the main lift. It left me totally gassed at the end to the point where I didn't want to do my next session. This and future cycles are going to be different. I lowered the weights on my accessories, kept the reps about the same and just really focused on squeezing/holding at the top of the lift. Really taking my time with them. Really felt great.

I think your approach to the accessory lifts will pay off, they'll still get stronger but not at the expense of the main lifts. Smart man!
