The 5 rep scheme on deads is really becoming my fave and it's been working well for me so far. Congratz on the PR DZ!! Just think, 405X5 is not far away. Will you be progressing 10 or 5 lbs on deads each cycle?

Doesn't get any better than a deadlift PR. Congrats.

I really liked the back off sets, but for some reason my lower back doesn't. I can tell I did deadlifts yesterday.

Can't wait till I am able to rep 405x5! Gonna be a happy day.

I have been progressing 10lbs on DL since I started 5/3/1 last October. Going to continue +10lbs as long as I can.

Rep PRs on deadlift are my favorite PRs to get. Nothing is better than pulling that much weight off of the floor.

Awesome DL session tonight. Very happy with how everything is falling into place. I was a little worried about tonight b/c I stubbed my big toe last night. Hurt like hell. Iced and elevated it, took some IB and rested. Tried to stay off of it for the most of the day. It worked b/c I had no problem at all.

I have the next few days off, so I might bench tomorrow and squat on saturday. See how everything plays out.

Happy 4th! Nobody loose any fingers/toes/limbs this weekend!
Just another great session in the books by DZ! Doesn't hurt that there's a dead rep PR in there too! Who needs toes for deads anyway?

Deadlift PR is a win.
Nice job Dz.
405x5 seems to be coming down the track pretty fast!

405x5 is in the future. One step at a time. I'm working on joining the 500 club. Getting closer.

Great benching session. Still feeling a little gassed from DLs the other day. Needed to do a few warm up sets to get the blood flowing. Seemed to work. My benching has come along way. I remember struggling trying to unrack 185 and now I'm repping 235. Just happy as hell. Got squats tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
