Default The Weapon-Road to his first meet

Hola MAB i know i havent logged in ages! But here goes another! I was going to a meet in May but i had hip issues opted to recover and heal over competing i was looking at hitting 420 squat 425 deadlift and 205 bench(LOL) Now i am healing well these next 4 weeks will still be rehab work then ill looking to adding weight. Its really hard to say where ill be Squat wise but i am going to shoot big
at 450s/450d/250b as long as i PR on all my lifts ill be happy. One thing my Friend/PL coach taught me is meets are about beating yourself and being a champ comes in time.That might be easy for him to say because he wins all his meets haha.
Having said that bodybuilding in still in the picture! I know people say you cant do both successfully...( Efferding, Ohearn, Norton anyone?) Or even guys who are strong as hell with physiques( Green,Poundstone,Kazmiar) The big 3 lifts will be focus and the accessory work will focus on strengthening weak points with hypertrophy movements, i am big fan of Meadows stuff so his techniques will be used quite a bit.
I have a decent home gym that i train when i don't want to drive 30 min to my gym or looking to save some cash on gas(its pricey and i have hemi haha) its equipped with
A rack with a chin up bar and pegs for bands
SS Bar
EZ Curl Bar
30lbs in chains,I had 50lbs worth stolen
Bands up to medium from EFS
20,30 and 40lb dumbells
A land mine
Close grip v handle for t bar rows
A john meadows single arm BB row handle
a bench
will be looking to add the chains i lost and some more dumbells and more plates.

I also enjoy the best of both worlds - the JimGym and a crew gym that I lift with on weekends. Good to see you back logging and hope to follow along. Really liking the squat goal! Pretty much mine as well as I rehab alongside you.
