Starting a new log here. Should help to get me on track... would hate to leave a log blank for too long.

I'm going to pull my last couple workouts from the other site and try to workup a plan for getting started.

Going to shoot for a workout tomorrow. (Note: I tried pasting my signature "Yay..!" here but to my dismay was informed that I need 15 posts before I can post a link to another site. Can I upload an .mp3 file here and link to it? I'll have to look into that.)

I'm hoping I can lift half of what I did.

The answer as to whether I can link to an MP3 on this site remains to be seen. I found out that I require 25 posts to make an album.

Squats... went well... warm ups felt real good... have been hurting lately due to stiffness and DOMS, but not today. Been doing body squats to stretch and it helps.

Press... Not bad... still hit 145 even after the squat PR's

Deads... Felt good... thought I might get a PR... failed at 345... it never left the floor. I guess the workout had caught up to me by then.

The discovery that the bar weighed 55 lbs came as a good boost for my lifts. Squats felt real good going in so I decided to go for 1RM's... never did before... always did sets. I had finished the 295 squat and was trying to decide if I could do 300 or not. A guy must have been watching and decided I was taking too long so he asked me if I was done. That did it for me... I said "no" loaded the bar got tight and squatted the 300lbs deeper than I did the last 4 or 5... felt good.

I had brought the camera with me but it was very crowded in there... I think a lot of college kids home for the holidays and wanted to get a workout in so they can skip tomorrow. I didn't want the camera getting in the way and wasn't expecting anything to happen today anyway...damn..!

Goal now is to get some heavier squats on video.
I'm up, happy and looking forward to the next workout.

Squats... Thought I was squatting 270... it was 275... I had put too much on. I was talking with someone that told me the bar I use weighs 55lb. He is the 3rd or 4th guy to tell me this. He weighed the bar... it is 55lb. So I really squatted 285. In fact all my BB weights are 10lbs light.

Press... I got 2 sets of the elusive 280... didn't think I would get another and dropped weight.

P Rows... I got a pain in my hip on the second set... didn't get any better so I stopped after 3 sets of 165 (really 175)

7 mos of nursing my thumb...

I have an idea of where to start. I plan on doing Squats, OHP and DL's next workout and seeing how 50% goes.

Wow - its been awhile. Was wondering what happened to you, but no matter, your back at it and that's what counts. You will find your way quick enough.

It has indeed been awhile...

I haven't been to the old site since my last workout until today. I had no idea that you were MIA as well.

Real good to hear that you are back to 100%... I do have a lot to get caught up on.
