Now that I been training for a year I've been learning a lot more about myself and what I can do in the gym. I realized I been chasing a lot PR's and been eager to want progress more quickly. I'm now starting to understand I need to focus more on building my strength in the gym rather then trying to test it. Now that I got a little knowledge and experience under my belt, (thanks to MAB) I want to get a little more serious about my training and goals and possibly step on a platform one day.
Currently been following 5/3/1 going to take my current gym maxes and re-calculate my percents and plug them into my 1 year plan/commitment.

*Things felt pretty good today, did take a few sets to get into the groove. After squats I hung on the power rack for a little bit, I heard it helps de-compress the spine...

*Really felt the burn here, I did notice my right side felt it a little more than the left.

Overall a good session, nothing felt too easy or too heavy.

Is this "5/3/1 for Powerlifters"? Only heard about that one, but it looks like this could be that.
