Pretty short and sweet today, actually kind of felt good to get some lighter work in and get out. Been working my butt off at work this last week, so I think it'll be a good rest for my body and mind to get ready for my next cycle..

Those were kind of easy. Lately I been going a little heavier for sets of 5's. I try to mimic my deadlift in a way - by driving my head back and pushing the glutes through.

*Car broke down last night, could be the fuel pump. Not sure how soon I'll be able to train again, will log asap

Got my car fixed today, luckily is was just a small fix I could do myself. Just had to spend 30 dollars for a new distributor cap & rotor. Decided to skip my OH Press deload and jump into my next cycle.

Great job on the squats. If your not feeling it, don't do it. Smart move. No sense in injuring yourself. Keep at it!

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.
