Killed the squats Dray, big session.
Seems everybody is jumping on the "Beyond" bandwagon. Be sure you switch for a good reason and not just because it's the newest thing. But hell, I wish you luck no matter what you choose, I know you'll give effort regardless.

Aye, yer right. That's likely to be part of it. Well, that and 5/3/1 is finally wide open - oh my, it's full of stars! lol.

It might well be I'll have to knock back the days to 3 again anyway - what with recent life and family stuff, time will need to be a more flexible thing.

So it could be more useful to start thinking about full body options, really...

OHP 60kg/132lbs x 8,7,7 (22/20)

Down Set: OHP 30kg/66lbs x 25

Chest-Supported Row [bar+65kg]/+143lbs x 10,10,10 (30/20)

DB Bench 35.5kg/78.1lbs x 10, Pullup x 6,4, DB Bench x 9, Pullup x 5,4, DB Bench x 7, Pullup x 7 (DBB: 26/30)

Lying EZ-Bar Tricep Extension ~40kg/88lbs x 10,9,9 (28/30)



OHP had to be reset. And I still didn't get all that many reps @ 60kg. :/ Ah well, these things happen.

Everything else was not too bad though, in the scheme of things (i.e., progress was made).

Bloody OHP.

Thanks, Off Road and Fenris.

Deadlifts (etc.) next, trying for another Rep PR, then maybe full body as of next week - the sooner I change back to 3 days a week, the better, probably.

Can then do Mon/Wed/Fri or Mon/Thu/Sat or Mon/Wed/Sat or Tue/Thu/Sat.

Thinking about Squat/Bench/Row, OHP/Deads/???, Squat/Bench/Row as the foundation once again, with chins and dips (probably days 1 and 3), and whatever else added in. Looking forward to benching and squatting twice a week again. Deadlifts... I guess they're my strongest lift anyway, so once a week should do.

Power Clean 20kg/44lbs x 5, 30kg/66lbs x 3, 40kg/88lbs x 3, 50kg/110lbs x 3, 60kg/132lbs x 3,3,3
^ rusty as hell with these, and energy levels were extremely low today - lack of sleep

Deadlift 175kg/385lbs x 5 (more like 5x1 grinders, really. :/)

Hanging Leg-Hip Raise +5kg/+11lbs x 10,8,7 /ss/ Lying Hamstring Curl 35kg/77lbs x 12,10,10

DB Shrug 46.2kg/~101.5lbs x 8,8,8



Ugh. It was hard enough making my way to the gym today, let alone lifting anything. Blarg.

Nothing went very well, not surprisingly. Less sleep -> crappy results. Duh.

Back to full body starting Monday.
