Nice work Hywelbane, and to keep it light haha. This will pay off when it comes time to lift heavy again.

Going light is my weakness! Haha, hopefully it does.

245x1
275x4 no vid
275x4
275x4
275x4
275x4
275x10 Friend touched the bar on the last rep right at the top because I hit the pins. Still going to count it as it was still going up.

Decided to do the bench workout I was going to do on Sunday today due to the circumstances below.
The plan was to do 6x4 with 70% of my max from Saturday. I was hyped up and somehow did the math wrong. Whoops. Ended up doing 5x4 with 80% and then a set of 10 with it.
Next bench day is August 3rd, so I think I'll be recovered haha.

CGBP:
185x10
185x10
185x10

Straight bar pressdown:
100x10
120x10
130x10
140x10
150x10

Skulls:
95x8
95x8

Went a lot harder today because I won't be able to workout until next Tuesday. Tomorrow I head back to my college's town to move my furniture out of my apartment, and my girlfriends, into a storage unit. Have to do this because our house lease doesn't start until the 15th of August and our apartment lease runs out on July 31st.

Do I even bench lol - if I hadn't seen the vid I might not have believed it haha.

I am in awe, and someday hope to be able to bench like that.

However, next time put moar weight on the bar!

Hope your recovered for all that moving this weekend. Big drag to have to move twice - but that will just add even more size to your frame eh?

What a weekend/ week so far. Moving went great...yesterday we planned to leave and when we got ready to turn in our apartment keys (cars completely loaded and apartments empty) my girlfriend's car didn't start. Went and got a new battery, put it in, then drove to autozone to check the alternator. It was bad. They had to order one. It was supposed to come in today, but did not. So hopefully it'll be here tomorrow. I'll be here until this is all done with, as I'll be the one changing it.
Hopefully if all goes well I'll be able to lift again tomorrow.

get a Honda Accord - they never break down!

Sounds like all is OK tho, and looking forward to your next session. Hate it when life gets in the way of our lifting eh?

Haha, that'd be a sound choice, but her next vehicle will be a big truck because at the moment she has 1 horse and will possibly have another.

Yeah, alternator changed today and she is on her way home, and I am back home. Ready to lift now.
Definitely do, but I'll think of it as some extra fated rest, That helps take away the sting haha!

Default Squat

Walked in with no real high hopes. Was just extremely happy to be back in the gym.

Squat:
Barx15
135x5
225x3
315x1
Add wraps
365x1
385x4 - Didn't feel right
335x4
335x4
335x4

Worked on getting in the groove. Holy crap was I stiff and tight.

Below Knee Rack Pull:
135x5
225x5
315x5
315x5
315x5

Hamstring Curls:
6x10
6x10
6x10

Happy to be back! I'm counting this workout as a win all around. Last Friday-Last night I have been sleeping on a $30 blow up mattress from Wal-Mart and the only food I have eaten has been from restaurants due to a completely empty apartment. My body is so wrecked and hurting. Didn't plan on staying until today, but Murphy's Law was in full effect all week.

Tomorrow I'll be combining my push and pull days and will probably superset antagonistic muscles to get the most out of it. Hopefully I can get all my lifts in from those days that I'm supposed to do that way.
