Keep it up Mike. When these irritating situations come up, you just keep grinding on. Your lifts will rise.

Forgot to answer this and a couple other ones, so let's get those cleared up now.

I love doing a single then backoff sets. I made great gains on this principle with Fazc's program last year and am getting back to it. It does make the rep sets "feel" lighter and you can hit them harder, but more than that you kind of keep your form tighter too as the heavy single reminds you of what you need to be doing. If that makes sense.

Hunter, I do deads last as habit more than anything else. On fullbodies, I squat, then press then pull in general. I am actually rethinking that and might go to doing the main lift of the day first, though. We'll see. However in general, nothing really hurts my deadlifts too much, but if I deadlifted first, it would definitely affect my squats and bench. But that right there might be a good reason to switch things up.

Markie, I will defintely do Korte one of these days. I like that setup for sure.

Tann, I used to press like you suggest, but that step back and set fatigued me a bit and made the first rep kind of hard. SO, I switched to going right off the liftoff. Normally, I set my feet much better and concentrate more. I think that was more the problem this time.

Thanks fellas! Rough day today, I would have to rush the workout today and that's not smart. I'll just hit it tomorrow when I have plenty of time to do it justice. I feel good and am adjusting to this quickly. Big stuff soon.

nice work mike, fullbody for the win.

fullbody is demanding and can rob other lifts but I love them and find it hard to train any other way.

Thanks felas! I'm loving it lately. I really like training like this. Hopefully it brings my conditioning way up too. We'll see.

Quick one today. I probably could have done this yesterday had I thought about it as it only took about 45 minutes today. WORE me OUT though!

warmups: swings and some rowing to get sweaty in the 100+ heat in the ole garage today.

Squat:
175x 20 (whew!)

Bench:
245x 1 pause
200x 11, 6, 5 Reps met add weight

BB Rows:
155x 9, 8, 6 reps made add weight

Doing these rows more traditional to keep the tension all the way through and to get some low back work too. Trying this after reading an article on these type rows being good for deadlifts. We'll see.

Some stretching an that's it.

20x 175:
245:
200x 11, I think I was off center on bench as these felt weird and I kept hitting the left pin:
155x 9:

Off to a soccer game. Have a nice weekend all!
