Thanks Lisa, yes Brian certainly earned his keep that night, dont know what I would have done without his help. Just gotta figure out how to get the anger this Sunday!

4 days to go...I'm going nuts with nothing to lift....not as bad tonight, young man from the neighborhood came over to lift, so I helped him out a while...at least got me NEAR some Iron!!

I will be heading out Sat and spending the night in Whorlando...I mean Orlando, that way I avoid getting up 2.5 hrs earlier and driving there Sunday morning.

Best Meet Lifts:
Squat = 325
Bench = 210
Dead = 353
Total = 888

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

I really admire your love for lifting Marvin. You get the job done no matter what. You do it for yourself and to keep your sanity amidst the unsupportive atmosphere around you sometimes.

Looks like really good openers, which will be a PR total right off the bat. I wish you all the best and I also wish I could be there.

Squats:
45 x 4
95 x 4
135 x 4
185 x 3
225 x 2 warm ups
............................

255 x 1...white light
265 x 1...couldnt even un-rack it...and the timer was running....stepped away, reset...got super pissed...piece of cake...white light
275 x 1....EASY...new PR...white light

Bench:
warm-ups sets...

175 x 1...white light
180 x 1...white light
stopped there, 180 felt good for an opener

Deads:

warm-up sets....

285 x 1...white light
295 x 1...white light
305 x 1...white light

So there ya have it...tonight ANGER was my besr friend

So here is what I am thinking for openers

Squat...255
Bench...180
Dead.....290

That right there will be a 25 lb total increase from last meet...and I am 99% confident I will hit them all fairly easy!!

NOW...5 days of rest........and on the sixth day...He Lifted!!
Great mock meet Marvin! Awesome job and can't wait to see you smash you old meet PRs! As for the family bs, that sucks ass! Sad that you have zero support, if I could I'd come and cheer you on, but since I can't ill be there in spirit! Guess if you're unhappy, might be best to call it quits, but that's up to you! Rest up and smash some meet PRs for me!!!!!!
