Had a fellow lifter make this vid as I was trying to loosen up my shoulders.

Good job finding a weight you could work with on the squats and not just blowing them off like I would have

How did you like the cable crunches?

I agree with OR. High Bar will take a few weeks to get used to. I also had pain, mostly near my neck. I just had a chiro move my neck around to accommodate the bar. Haha - j/k. After a few weeks, I adjusted and all is good as I never feel anything now - its almost as if the bar is not even there. I do do more warm up sets than you tho and I find I never have any shoulder issues, so I don't know any work to improve it other than more warm up sets.

Thanks Rick...I liked the cable crunches, I had just started doing them when I was W/O at the prison I work at, but had to stop when I started up at home....now that I can do them at home, I will be doing the regularly!

problem with High Bar....those who follow, know that not too long ago, I almost gave up squats because of the hip arthritis pain, and lower back arthritis pain, that, and the fact I couldn't squat...well...squat.

Low bar to the rescue.....Using Low Bar, no hip pain AT ALL, no lower back pain AT ALL, and I added 60+ lbs in 2-3 months. So even though low bar caused shoulder pain, I am going to try to fix that before I go back to high bar.....that beibg said, Lisa, I might need to see "Your Guy"

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

I like it - sort of a hybrid between OR and JB! Can't go wrong there.

Sorry, I of course remember you had some squat issues of late but forgot low bar was a bit of a savior for you. Hopefully next week will be better.

It is especially good idea to start light on the MP's on OR's program.
