I crushed my last squat workout. Nanner nanner boo boo.

12/15/2009 - A1

Workout Time: 50 minutes

Workout Grade: C-

A roller coaster ride today. I've had a (seemingly) minor lung irritation the last 3 days. I don't feel sick, but I've had a minor cough. Today during the workout, it was incredibly hard to catch my breath after each set. I hung on, but it was not a fun ride through iron land, that's for sure.

Also, my grip strength wasn't up to par on Yate's rows, which was bizarre. I had to kick off a few sets early.

Despite the negatives, my strength was up. What more can you ask for...

Squats
365 x 3/3/3/3/3/3

RDLs
225 x 8/8/8

Yates Rows
225 x 5/5/5

Looks like a pretty good workout to me, get some rest and clear out them lungs.

Do you like the RDLs? I have mixed feelings about them, I think they really hit the hamstrings hard, but I just love to deadlift heavy.

I don't personally care for them because I can't find a good foot position. I've tried everything and can't master the form. My knees don't feel right as I sink.

Personally I feel good mornings work my hammies better. Bodybygamma recommended sumo stiff legs. I tried those once, and might try them again.

nice weights. The one lift I always struggle with if I have a bad cough is the squat, especially if they are high rep squats.

I am still sick. This is not a good end to 2009. I can barely catch my breath going to the bathroom.
